International Women Day: Friends Special

Hey guys hello and welcome to my blog…today everyone is celebrating International Women Day and cheering the existence of beautiful women in our lives. We come across so many woman everyday and we learn one or the other things from them.

Guys, in 90s we saw an iconic show called “Friend” and yes it had a great impression on everyone’s life. Trust me whenever I have bad day this show is the first thing that comes to my mind. There are multiple reasons why I love this show so much…for those who don’t know about the show I would like to tell you guys that show had three women.

1. Phoebe Buffay:

Oh my god!! I simply love Phoebe Buffay!! she is one with most difficult childhood…her mother killed herself and her stepfather was in prison and her twin sister doesn’t even bother to know whereabouts of her sister, still she is the quirkiest character I have ever seen. She grew up on streets and used to mug people for her livelihood but still she always stood strong. She made a life for herself and was often used to share her stories from the street with her group which most of the times left them speechless. She helped her friends in every possible way, even she offered Ross to cleanse his aura. 

Phoebe, I would love to tell you that you inspire me like no one else, you are so brave and so strong, the kind of situations you faced in life never affected you in worst manner. You have great soul, to help your brother you bear his children. Funniest and sexiest!! I love you..you rocked every time you sung “smelly cat”, you had your priorities…and yes you are savage. Thanks for inspiring me over the years and telling me its okay to be of your own kind.

2. Rachel Greene:

Queen bee and spoiled brat, ran from her wedding because she realised she don’t love Barry..often mocked to be selfish. When she ran from her wedding, her father wanted her to comeback and get married but she denied and as a result of which her father stopped giving her money. Always famous and rich Rachel Greene never saw real life and had never done a real job. But when her friends asked her to find job she did. She worked as waitress for two years and when she got her paycheck she was sad because it was meager money. But she continued doing her job even after knowing she hated it. I mean it takes hell load of guts to be Rachel, who never saw financial crisis in her life to work as waiter. She had choice to go back but she didn’t, she stayed and did what she started.

Dear Rachel, it was so brave of you that you left your comfortable life behind and decide to do something on your own. Once you were there you were never unstoppable. You chased you passion and you entered fashion industry. You are diva not just by appearance but at heart too. You decided to raise a baby on your own. It was you who got opportunity to work in Paris. Stylish and Most adorable Rachel Greene thank you for inspiring me that even you want you can achieve what not in life.

3. Monica Geller:

Second child, fat and always in shadow of your elder brother but still you made your life worth. The best host and chef, the cleanliness freak and always happy to take charge. Highly competitive.

Monica Geller, I am proud of you for the way you lived your life, when Rachel needed you, you were there. On every thanksgiving eve you made dinner for everyone with love. You reflect an essence of woman, all you wanted in life was family and you were brave when you got to know you cannot conceive but that doesn’t affected your love for children and you decided to adopt a child. Even though there were two children you took them both. You made me realise that being competitive is fine, I loved how you took care of Ben and how you gave name “Emma” to Rachel’s child . You made sandwich for Ross which was only good thing going on in his life. You are a complete woman to me who is ambitious and who knows how to take care of family. 

She

She is gold, she is star. She is class and she is sass. She is of all ages and ethnicities. She speaks her heart out and is truthful. She knows how to bring out best in others, she will inspire you to be of your own type. She is tough but knows compassion…she is modern and traditional…she  handles kitchen and gadgets with precision…she celebrates being women..she is brave to be vulnerable she is always in making if better person. She cries sometime but she knows how to move on….

She is amazing and she is you!!!

Flaws

I still remember that night when you counted all my imperfections and flaws, making me totally worthless…..I was broken but today when I embraced all my flaws and imperfections I fell deeply in love with myself and then there were stars shining inside out from my eyes instead of tears.

Lost

He got lost in a strange world she was
Where her dimples were setting him free from everything that held him back
Where he chased her like butterfly..
Where he found poetry in the Goosebumps on her dusky skin
Where he kissed her to live as if it the only way he can survive…
She was an hourglass, she emptied herself to fill every bit of him…she was the time that changed his destiny
Her floral scent made him high
She was the strange world where he was lost

Lost

I am lost,
I have gone too far,

She!!

She!!

It was a windy night, with thunders, lightenings and heavy rain. It seems like this thunder was going to ruin everything on it’s way, everything was falling apart even her patience.

She decided to run. Run  somewhere far, far away from everything that made her cry that made her feel bad about herself. Far from every ugly truth, towards her freedom. She felt tiny droplets on her skin it felt as if it was healing scars that an abusive relationship gave her, scars that this stereotypical society gave her by telling her that being in that abusive relationship was her destiny. But today things are different she know it’s her life and she is the only person who have right to make decisions for herself. She is the one who gets to decide how things are going for her.

And for the first time in forever she decided to be herself!!
